College of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering Holds a Meeting on the Deployment of Education and Management of Graduates and Postgraduates

On May 29th, the College of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering holds a meeting on student work in boardroom 308 of college building, Mingxiang campus. The meeting is presided by Guo Fei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Academy. Dai Zhen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Academy, teachers in charge of the academic affairs and the Youth League Committee of the Academy, and all college counselor of graduates and undergraduates participate in the meeting.

The meeting conveys the spirit of the school’s recent meetings on further strengthening the prevention and control of epidemics and increasing safety education and management, and deploys important affairs in recent days. All counselors are required to carry out a self-examination of student education and management work in accordance with the “Student Education and Management Self-Examination Form” as soon as possible. All counselors should understand the work requirements and regulations, keep the bottom line of safety, and strengthen the safety educations. Combined with the new situation and problems and content of this meeting, counselors should enrich the content of safety education constantly and standardize the form. It is necessary to talk with students with care and patience in order to know them well. All counselors and advisors are required to know the difficulties of students in their thoughts, studies, life and employment and try to offer targeted suggestions to their problems.

Guo Fei stresses that safety is the foundation of all work. She points out that all counselors should raise awareness, take responsibilities with serious attitudes, and do well in student education and management and other tasks. The meeting also makes plans for the innovation and practice competition of graduates and postgraduates and the selection of advanced individuals.
